Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis 2015

The German Sustainability Prize is awarded annually to companies that are exemplary in combining economic success with social responsibility and environmental friendliness – and which act sustainably for the benefit of further growth. Each autumn, numerous national and international celebrities are invited to the celebratory gala at the Düsseldorf Maritim Hotel. The prize, which has been awarded since 2008, was initiated by the 3SAT presenter Stefan Schultze-Hausmann. brandmission has been on board from the very outset, and since then has developed and realised a new stage setting every year, which supports both prize winners and artists thematically and stages them individually. 1,200 invited guests from companies, municipalities, the political sphere, the fields of research and civic society all came to the presentation of the German Sustainability Prize 2015. The winners included: Vaillant, Lebensbaum, BASF, Telekom, VAUDE, and local councils such as Karlsruhe, Kempten im Allgäu and Juist. Honorary prizes were awarded to Queen Silvia of Sweden, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres, Hans-Dietrich Genscher and Art Garfunkel. Music was also provided by Ute Lemper and Marlon Roudette. Honorary guests included personalities from the areas of business, culture, sport and the media, including Dieter Hallervorden, Iris Berben and Sven Hannawald.
